Stock photo agencies make life much easier for bloggers and website owners. You just have to register for an account, pay the monthly or annual fees, and then start downloading and using the images you need for your website as and when you require.
You can even continue with the use of the images after your subscription ends. Once you purchase an image it is yours to use forever and ever.
Depositphotos is one of the fastest growing microstock agency and stock photo agency in the world.
The company was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Florida, USA.
They serve customers from over 192 countries, giving them support in 14 languages. Depositphotos allows everyone to buy and sell high-quality stock photos, vector images and videos.
They have recently given a huge change to their website and have re-designed it almost in its entirety.
Now it has a more concise and modern design, and the website’s user interface is simpler and even more convenient.
These newly introduced updates have made the website more user-friendly and they have also refined their search algorithm. This will allow the Depositphotos users to search and find images and videos they are seeking at a much faster speed.
The changes have affected the overall look and feel of the website’s front page and also of its principal content pages. This new site design resembles a showcase where customers can easily buy the items they like without unnecessary clutter and distractions.
Users are now also given the option to alter the search page according to their specific needs and requirements. The advanced search menu can be inserted either on the left or on the top of the screen or it can also be minimized; it all depends upon which settings you chose.
The senior officers of the company had this to say on its new design:
“Now Depositphotos has become incredibly convenient to view from a computer or mobile devices, since its design and control elements are easily transformed and can adapt to any screen resolution.” – Elena Flanagan-Eister, Depositphotos CEO
“In addition to the updated design, we’ve introduced another important feature for our customers worldwide. Now they can pay for images and videos in their local currencies. The EU member states, Ukraine and the Russian Federation are the first countries, after the U.S., where we’ve provided the ability to pay in one’s national currency, and much more other nations will follow.” – Vadim Nekhai, Depositphotos CMO
Their earlier site design used a lot of green color. Though they still are using some green but now it is no longer their main theme.
They are using a lot of white space now. White space does not really mean that you use the white color, but it means you give a lot of space between different elements. But they are actually doing both.
